Please Steve Smith. I am begging for you to have a huge game tonight. Something along the lines of 10 catches for 150 yards and 2 TDs. Because I need 37 points tonight from you so my WCOFF team stays undefeated.

Yep that’s right. The World Championships of Fantasy Football. Right now team “FIOTT” stands at 2-0. Amazingly we have been winning with LaDainian Tomlinson and Pierre Thomas as our #1 and #2 running backs. A little FIOTT background. Team FIOTT consists of yours truly, and my cousins Justin, Mike (Boz), and Eric (E-Rock). The origin behind the name FIOTT is a story worth telling. The four of us were at a family function and comments were flying about how we need to have our shit together or we will look like Four Idiots At The Table. Notice how the letters highlighted are FIATT not FIOTT. Four idiots at the table would make sense if 4 people were allowed at the draft table. Since only 2 were allowed, the name morphed in Four Idiots On The Team. Which is idiotic in itself, so the name fits. Even more idiotic, up untill last Thursday I thought it stood for Four Idiots ON the Table.

Back to Steve Smith and his 10 catch 150 yard 2 TD day

I need to have a game this big

I need to have a game this big

I know it’s asking a ton, but you have done it before. You were almost there last week with 8 catches for 131 but no TDs. Back in ‘08 you had a 9 catch 165 yard 1 TD game in week 15. 8 catches for 168 in week 12. 117 yards and 2 TDs in week 8. But in 2007 you did it in week 2 getting 8 catches for 153 yards and 3 TDs. Thats 8 catches 8 points. 153 yards = 15.3 points. 3 TDs = 18 points. 8+15.3+18 = 43.5 and a FIOTT victory. We don’t even really need the third TD.

Is it possible of course. Both Mario Manningham and Steve put up huge numbers on Dallas’ secondary last week. Dallas can’t get to the QB and can’t tackle or cover. This could mean big things for Smith tonight.

So here’s to you Steve Smith. Have a career day.
