1. Adrian Peterson (Minnesota Vikings) @ Detroit – The only rush defense worse than the Browns, is Detroits. The Lions just got lit up by Mike Bell. In other words expect Adrian to run all over Detroit almost the same as he ran over the Browns. It would be shocking if AD didn’t eclipse 125 yards and have at least 2 TDs.
2. Brian Westbrook (Philadelphia Eagles) vs. New Orleans – McNabb is out for week 2, most likely. If that is the case the entire offense will go through Westy. Beautiful. The only way to stop Drew Brees from throwing touchdowns is keeping him on the sideline. I don’t think the Saints defense is good enough to stop BW. So look for Westy to rack up around 120 yards and a TD.
3. Michael Turner (Atlanta Falcons) vs. Carolina – Remember the last time Turner played Carolina. 117 yards and 4 TDs. Turner and the Falcons rushing attack will get back on track this week. 4 TDs? No. 2? Yes.
4. Maurice Jones-Drew (Jacksonville Jaguars) vs. Arizona – The Cardinals offense struggled last week. But they won’t play like that every week. The only way to stop them is keep them off the field. MJD is set up to have a nice day this week. Even though Arizona held Gore and company in check. 115 and at least 1 TD
5. Clinton Portis (Washington Redskins) vs. St. Louis – In week 1 Seattle ran all over the Rams. Portis had a decent game against a tough Giants defense with 70 yards. Clinton will be allover St. Louis this week. Look for 115 yrds and a TD.
6. Chris Johnson (Tennessee Titans) vs. Houston – After a rough start to 2009 against Pittsburgh, Johnson gets to run against an entirely new and softer defense. Houston was abused by Thomas Jones and Leon Washington last week, as Jones had 2 long runs. CJ is faster and may have a couple 40 yarders waiting for him. 115/1
7. Frank Gore (San Francisco 49ers) vs. Seattle – Gore didn’t have exactly what one might call a good game against the Cardinals. But he is still a top back in this league. If Coach Singletary is smart, and I think he is, he will run the crap out of the ball with Gore this week. He is good for at least 110 and a TD. But I have a feeling FG is in for a big one.
8. Ray Rice (Baltimore Ravens) @ San Diego – How nice would that TD have been? The one McGahee vultured after a Rice was an inch short of the goal line. 120 total yards is awesome. Even though it was the Chiefs. But breaking the triple digit mark will be Rice’s thang this year. Ray will get at least 110 total yards this week and a TD.
9. Ryan Grant (Green Bay Packers) vs. Cincinnati – Going from the Bears to the Bengals, will be like going Coach to First Class and being sat next to Megan Fox, who happens to be drunk and a little frisky. Get the point? Good game for Grant as he bounces back with a buck 10 and a score.

10. Steven Jackson (St. Louis Rams) @ Washington – Jackson had a very pedestrian game against the Seahawks last week. The Rams really need him to get going this week if they want to have a chance. Lots of opps for Jackson this week and he bounces back with a solid 110 total and more than likely a TD.
11. Darren McFadden (Oakland Raiders) @ Kansas City – A little high? Maybe, but the Ravens ran all over KC in week 1, and DMC had a solid game against the Chargers on Monday Night, hustling out 93 total yards. The Chiefs defense will be a bit more forgiving and Darren will have a nice 105 yard 1 TD game.
12. Steve Slaton (Houston Texans) @ Tennessee – My 2009 man crush disappointed me in week 1. Being a Jets fan it was great, but 57 yards and a lost fumble is unacceptable. Things aren’t any easier this week against the Titans, but have faith as Slaton can’t do much worse. 100 yards and a TD sound about right. Then he will go off!
13. Marion Barber (Dallas Cowboys) vs. NY Giants – The Giants were able to keep Clinton Portis in check because they didn’t have to worry as much about Jason Campbell. Tony Romo is a different story. Marion isn’t going to give you a huge game this week, but 100 yards and a TD isn’t far from his reach.
14. DeAngelo Williams (Carolina Panthers) @ Atlanta – Call me a hater. But I just will not buy this guy this year. I’m sorry Eric and Justin, and everyone else, but last year was a fluke. He will probably make me look foolish, but I stand by my prediction and say that Williams will only be good for around 95 yards and a TD.
15. Matt Forte (Chicago Bears) vs. Pittsburgh – Any other week Forte would be in the top 5. Not against the Steelers though. Some benefit of the doubt keeps him in the top 15. Don’t expect to much from your first rounder this week. Be happy with the 90 and a TD
16. Fred Jackson (Buffalo Bills) vs. Tampa Bay – Fred was my sleeper pick last week and he had a great game against New England. 140 total yards, 5 catches, and a TD. This week he drops, not because Tampa’s defense is better, but because it’s time for him to come back to earth. Still a good game from him though 90 yards 1 score
17. Julius Jones (Seattle Seahawks) @ San Francisco - Jones racked up 136 yards and a TD against the Rams last week. JJ will continue to get touches if he keeps this up. The 49ers defense wasn’t tested last week playing the no-run-game Cardinals. Julius will give good numbers 85/1
18. Brandon Jacobs (New York Giants) @ Dallas – Jacobs only wound up with 63 yards last week. He was also held out of the end zone. The weak Giants passing game isn’t helping. Don’t expect Much from Brandon this week. 80 yards and a TD.
19. Thomas Jones (New York Jets) vs. New England – The Jets will rely on the running game this week to keep Brady off the field. The Patriots got smoked by Fred Jackson last week. TJ splits time with Leon Washington, and that is the only thing holding his ranking back this week. 75 yards TD
20. Cedric Benson (Cincinnati Bengals) @ Green Bay – Yep that Cedric Benson. He had a good game last week against Denver, totaling 108 yards and he hit pay-dirt. Green Bay’s defense held Forte in check ast week, but Benson is the man in Cincy and will get enough touches to hit 75 yards and maybe another TD
Sleeper
Jamal Lewis (Cleveland Browns) @ Denver – Lewis ran for 104 yards and a TD against a tough Vikings defense in week 1. Denver’s defense is not quite as good. Remember the Megan Fox line? Lewis should and I stress should, because Mangini is an Idiot, see plenty of carries . Very good RB2 this week.
Who Knows
Mike Bell and Pierre Thomas – Thomas says he’s coming back, and Bell just ran for a million yards. Split? Only time will tell, be cautious.
LT – Busted ankle for LT and people are saying he may sit. Frickin LT
