1. Drew Brees (New Orleans Saints) @ Buffalo Bills – Do I really need to explain this? Brees is the Best QB in the NFL right now. Nobody can stop him.

2. Peyton Manning (Indianapolis Colts) @ Arizona – Peyton and Kurt Warner are going to light up the scoreboards against each other in week 3. And if you own Manning this is exactly the type of game you love. Sit back, relax and enjoy another 300+ yard game and at least 2 TDs.

3. Tom Brady (New England Patriots) vs. Atlanta – Brady got his ass beat up last week against the Jets defense. My Jets still haven’t allowed a TD. This week against Atlanta he may find himself smack dab in the middle of the other shoot out of week 3. Brady will be looking to bounce back against the Falcons who just allowed Jake Delhomme to have a 300 yard game.

4. Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers) @ St. Louis – Threw for 261 yards and a TD last week. Kinda expected more against the Bengals. Kinda had him ranked first. Either way the numbers were still solid, and he has an easier match up this week against the Rams. The Rams have been giving up over 250 yards a game to QBs and 1.5 TDs.

5. Matt Ryan (Atlanta Falcons) @ New England – 549 yards, 5 TDs, 1 INT. That is not a bad 2 week stat line. Ryan New England will be playing pissed after the JETS loss. Ryan will be playing catch u with Brady and the Pats, which means plenty of passing. And he’s got plenty of options to throw to. 275/2

6. Matt Schaub (Houston Texans) vs. Jacksonville – What a difference a week makes. Schaub put up huge numbers against the Titans last week. 357 yards and 4 TDs, no INTs. The Jaguars are not good and the defense sucks, Sorry Jacksonville it’s true. They are giving up over 280 yards a game through weeks 1 and 2. Matt will  light them up 275/2

7. Kurt Warner (Arizona Cardinals) vs. Indianapolis – Another bounce back game. After a rough week 1. Warner set a single game completion percentage record, going 24-26 (92.3%) and throwing for 243 yards and 2 TDs. Indianapolis’ defense is playing well, but they haven’t exactly played against a QB like Warner. David Garrard and Chad Pennington. It is possible that Kurt’s game 3 stats are better then those 2 combined. 270/2 Ts

8. Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers) @ Cincinnati – With all the problems Pittsburgh is having on the ground, sounds strange, Ben has been putting up good numbers. The Bengals allowed Aaron Rodgers a solid performance, so expect the same type pf umbers from Ben this week. Just up those yards to about 270. 1.5 Tds

9. Eli Manning (New York Giants) @ Tampa Bay – Manning had an awesome game on Sunday Night against the Cowboys. 330 yards and 2 TDs. The Bucs secondary is getting hit for almost 300 yards a game. Not good. Another 300+ game from Eli is asking a lot, but 250 and 2 more TDs is definitely possible

10. Jay Cutler (Chicago Bears) @ Seattle – Another case of what a difference a week makes. After doing his best Jake Delhomme impression with 4 picks in week 1. Here comes Jay throwing for 2 TDs. Seattle’s defense hasn’t played anyone great yet, so the number 2 pass defense ranking is tainted.250/2

11. Philip Rivers (San Diego Chargers) vs. Miami – In week 2 Rivers threw for 436 yards and 2 TDs in a losing effort to Baltimore. He also had 2 INTs. Rivers is putting up some good stats but the turnovers are killing him. Another good day in store for him this week against a so-so Dolphins secondary.

12. Trent Edwards (Buffalo Bills) vs. New Orleans – The jury is still out on Edwards as he posted good numbers against a brutal Tampa Bay secondary lst week. Good news is he will be playing catchup against the Saints, and New Orleans doesn’t have the best secondary either.

13. Joe Flacco (Baltimore Ravens) vs. Cleveland Browns – Flacco is having himself a solid start to his sophomore season. This week he faces a the Browns who are just bad. Good week for Joe this week. 230/2

14. Tony Romo (Dallas Cowboys) vs. Carolina – What happened to Tony last week. Against the banged up Giants secondary. It seemed like Romo was playing lefty. ouch. He should make a decent comeback this week against the Panthers. But don’t expect another week 2 performance.

15. Mark Sanchez (New York Jets) vs. Tennessee – OK call me a homer. But the Titans secondary is playing terrible right now, and Sanchez hasn’t done anything to think he won’t play at least decently. This week he will get the numbers you want to see. 225/2

16. Brett Favre (Minnesota Vikings) vs. San Francisco – Favre doesn’t do a damn thing. It’s all Adrian Peterson, but he will still post decent fantasy numbers this week against an improving 49ers defense.

17. Kyle Orton (Denver Broncos) @ Oakland – Kyle took a lot of heat this pff season, but has been playing well. Over 500 yards in his first 2 games. His only TD came on a fluke to Brandon Stokely. He still hasn’t thrown a pick either. This week he should get into the end zone. 240/1

18. Carson Palmer (Cincinnati Bengals) vs. Pittsburgh – Pittsburgh’s defense and Carson Palmer both haven’t lived up to what we all thought they would or could be. Palmer threw 3 TDs and 2 INTS along with 184 yards against the Packers in week 2. 200/2

19. Chad Pennington (Miami Dolphins) @ San Diego – Chad isn’t playing bad. but he isn’t playing great. He’s basically doing just enough not to lose games for Miami. The Chargers have a better than average defensive backfield, but Pennington only throws minimal risk passes. It works, so the Phins go with it. 200/1

20. Jason Campbell (Washington Redskins) @ Detroit – The only reason Campbell is in the top 20 is because Detroits secondary is giving up a lot of yards and they get scored on way to much.8 TDs in the irst 2 games, although 6 came in week 1

Stay Away

Kerry Collins (Tennessee Titans) @ New York Jets – Collins has limited mobility, and with the amount of pressure the Jets can create, he will be going down and rushing passes. And to think Tennessee will do anything besides run Chris Johnson is crazy.

Seneca Wallace (Seattle Seahawks) vs. Chicago – Shoudn’t be hard to explain this one.

David Garrard (Jacksonville Jaguars) @ Houston – Don’t let his 282 yard 2 TD performnce fool you. Most of that came after the Cardinals had a big lead.

Noteworthy QB Notes

Chiefs QB Brodie Croyle has a much higher quarterback rating and a better completion percentage, but Matt Cassel has a bigger guaranteed contract. It will be Cassel facing the Eagles in Philadelphia, coach Todd Haley said Tuesday. But the rookie head coach also said he would not hesitate to make a switch if he decided Croyle gives the winless Chiefs a better chance.

Texans QB Matt Schaub has been voted as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the 34-31 victory at Tennessee. Schaub completed 25-of-39 for 357 yards and a career-best four touchdowns.
