The 2009 Football season brings us a crop of talented rookies. But not all of them will have Fantasy Impacts. Here are the top 10 Rookies that can help you this year.
Chris “Beenie” Wells (RB)- Cardinals – Wells will more than likely beat Tim Hightower out for carries. And Beenie may be just what the doctor ordered for the high-flying Cardinals. Wells will take advantage of the lanes left open by Kurt Warner’s antics. He should be the top Rookie fantasy prospect.
Knowshon Moreno (RB)- Broncos – Moreno has the talent upside to match Wells. But Wells doesn’t have the backfield Moreno has to contend with. Knowshon probably won’t get as many carries as Beenie because of guys like Peyton Hillis and Correll Buckhalter.
Percy Harvin (WR)- Vikings – Could have been Michael Crabtree here, but nope. Harvin will line up anywhere for Minny, and he has the first step and hands to do it.
Donald Brown (RB)- Colts – Brown will get carries right away. He is a Matt Forte type, and can even steal carries from Joseph Addai if he gets off to a bad start. Grab him as Addai’s handcuff if you can.
Jeremy Maclin (WR)- Eagles – Maclin can start over Kevin Curtis pretty early in the season, and would provide a nice 1-2 punch with DeSean Jackson on the other side. [click to continue…]
